Job Description

Job Summary

The FP&A Analyst will be a key member of the Finance team supporting the annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting process for EBG.  In collaboration with the Finance and Accounting teams, the professional will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports used for recurring performance analysis of revenue platforms and operating expenses across departments.  This role is an opportunity to expand the scope of analysis of business lines and the evaluation of spending initiatives under consideration across departments.

Essential Functions 

• Support the annual Company budgeting process, including coordinating with department leaders
• Develop monthly forecasts for multiple business lines and supporting consolidation into master reforecasts
• Assist in the execution of the Annual Operating Plan, including data capture, updates, and modeling
• Compiling and analyzing financial performance monthly for revenue platforms and operating expense details.   Interface with Accounting team to understand specifics related to monthly operating expense activity.
• Compile and prepare recurring financial reports that are inputs to Management reports for performance analysis
• Assist with month-end financial and operational analysis
• Assist in monthly closing activities such as accruals, review, research, preparation of variance reports and explanations
• Assist in development of ROI and Performance Measurement analyses for departments and operating spend initiatives
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analysis, as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• Minimum of 1+ years of FP&A experience as a junior financial analyst, financial analyst, business analyst, or in a similar FP&A role; entertainment and/or travel industry is a plus
• Intermediate skills with Excel, including data manipulation, PowerPoint, and other MS products (pivot tables, custom functions and formulas with large amounts of critical business data)
• Prior experience with ERP systems and software tools such as MS Dynamics / Great Plains, Tableau, Power BI, Adaptive Planning, and Alteryx
• Able to summarize large volumes of complex data in a clear and concise manner
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding communication skills 
• Possesses strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills  
• Strong desire to deliver superior results  
• Availability to work irregular schedules due to ad hoc requests
