Job and Ideal Candidate: 

Vanguard is excited to recruit for a medical assistant to support Sean Fitzsimmons, PA-C in his fast-paced clinic serving patients in Pueblo and southern Colorado Springs for general dermatology services. We are passionate about serving the medical dermatology needs of our patients, such as skin cancer treatment and chronic skin conditions. Our diverse team includes:

Our team cares for patients from the beginning to the end of each visit, taking care of everything from intake, to assisting the medical provider, to documenting visits, to handling labs and prescriptions. Our top MAs take on additional responsibilities across the practice. 
• If you are part of our pre-health program, you will also receive guidance and mentoring as you apply for grad school. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed at accredited 4-year university, or equivalent work experience. 
• Proven track record of working well on teams and delivering excellence. 
• Excellent verbal and written skills required. Customer service experience a plus. 
• Alignment with the values and mission of Vanguard Skin Specialists. 

Schedule:
This is a full-time position supporting Sean Fitzsimmons, PA-C and his clinic Mondays and Wednesday-Friday. Schedule will cover our Pueblo office on Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and our Broadmoor office on Wednesday. Hours average 36 – 42 per week.   

This position will be available starting August 2025.
