Pay Rate: $38.02-$60.83 hourly

Job Description:

The Supervisor overlooks the day-to-day activities of a functional area of a department/unit. Supervises the work of employees.

• Supervises the day-to-day activities of the department/area.
• Participates in the interviewing and selecting process.
• Assigns work and follows up on work on of the employees.
• Provides input and assists with the performance appraisal process.
• Monitors educations requirements of staff.
• Oversees orientation of new employees.
• Assists with the facilitation of disciplinary actions.
• Maintains schedule and assures staffing levels are appropriate.
• Assists with development, facilitation and implementation of departmental projects.

Job Qualifications:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Licensure/Certification:  Valid license to practice Nursing in the State of Ohio required. BLS required.  ACLS and PALS may be required, or obtained, within 12 months of hire.

Experience:  3 years critical care experience required.
