JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Altoona Athletics & Recreation is seeking Youth Sports Camp Counselors for Summer 2025.

This opening is responsible for supervision and coaching of youth sports camps including but not limited to fitness, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and basketball.

Requirements and Qualifications

• May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold

 

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
