The Role:

We're looking for an accomplished engineer to elevate our end-user technology experience across a dynamic, globally distributed enterprise environment. If you're a hands-on leader with deep expertise in Microsoft Intune and a history of executing endpoint management strategies at scale (10,000 - 20,000+ devices), this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact!

In this hybrid Charlotte-based role, you’ll be at the forefront of optimizing device performance and user experience across Windows, macOS, tablets, and smartphones. You'll leverage an advanced ecosystem including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Apple Business Manager (ABM), and Apple Device Enrollment (ADE), while working with leading hardware solutions from Microsoft, Dell, and Apple.

We’re seeking someone with a proven track record of driving enterprise IT modernization initiatives—an expert who understands the full technical landscape and thrives in cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, innovative results.

Project Experience Requirements:

•             Leading enterprise-wide Windows 11 upgrade programs using Microsoft Intune, including strategy development, deployment execution, and post-implementation support

•             Designing and managing OS patching frameworks using Intune, ensuring compliance, automation, and global scalability

•             Creating and deploying complex device profiles, such as kiosk mode configurations, through Intune AutoPilot, tailored to diverse use cases across global locations

•             Building and maintaining custom dashboards using Azure Monitor and Microsoft Graph to support IT Operations documentation (KBAs) and align with ITSM Continual Service Improvement (CSI) models

•             Driving comprehensive migration efforts from legacy Active Directory Group Policy and Microsoft MECM configurations to Microsoft Intune, with a focus on implementing compliance controls, configuration standardization, and enterprise-wide reporting capabilities

Core Responsibilities:

•             Design, implement, and manage end-user technology solutions across various devices, including PCs, MacBooks, Tablets, and Smartphones.

•             Utilize enterprise tools such as Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Desktop Toolkit, and Apple Business Manager.

•             Engineer the implementation of applications and provide ongoing support using enterprise tools within the hardware technologies delivered.

•             Focus on enterprise solution engineering by providing comprehensive, documented information to support technical solutions.

•             Collaborate with various teams, including Enterprise Architects, Service Desk, Tier 2 Support Technicians, CyberSecurity, and other functions as needed, to ensure efficient and effective technical support and implementation.

•             Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and architectural diagrams to support end-user technology solutions.

•             Work with end users to understand how technology is being used to provide solutions that meet business needs within the company standards and technology portfolio.

•             Manage all components of application packaging, including the ability to reverse engineer existing packages to meet company standards, evolving functionality, and business needs.

•             Support virtual solutions such as Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365.

•             Navigate and implement enterprise security models using EPM, PAS, PIM, and other Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) designs.
