Overview

Maintain all Mechanical Systems related to the Rolling Process

Responsibilities

• Rotating shift work including nights and weekends
• Welding, cutting and fabrication
• Maintain all mechanical systems related to the rolling process
• Troubleshoot and repair of high pressure hydraulic systems
• Rigging, crane and mobile equipment operation
• Read and interpret blue prints and piping diagrams
• Work with operations and maintenance groups to ensure continued production
• Work with computer based maintenance systems

Qualifications

• Strong Safety awareness
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior mechanical maintenance experience in some or all of the following areas: Welding & fabricating, Industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, manual & automatic lubrication systems, Water systems, pipe fitting, Rigging, Bearing & coupling replacement, Ability to read prints & schematics.
• Strong willingness to learn
• Understanding of physics (heat transfer, fluid flow, force and power transmission)
• Understanding of mathematics (geometry, trigonometry)
• Willingness to work scheduled and non-scheduled overtime
• Strong teamwork focus
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to multi-task & prioritize work assignments with production needs

Preferred

• At least 2 years of Mechanical Maintenance Experience
