The Opportunity
As a Safety and Compliance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring Flock’s field operations, warehouses, and public-sector installation projects meet the highest standards of safety, labor compliance, and regulatory adherence.
This role blends hands-on field safety leadership, public works labor compliance expertise, and program ownership. You will partner closely with Field Operations, contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to protect our people, ensure compliance, and enable scalable growth across complex, multi-state deployments.
The Skillset
3+ years of experience in safety management, labor compliance, construction management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and DOT safety regulations.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
Experience conducting onsite inspections and managing contractor compliance.
Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
Comfortable traveling up to 50% to project sites nationwide.
Experience with safety platforms, compliance portals, or LMS tools is a plus.

The First 30 Days
Complete onboarding and build relationships with Field Ops, Legal, Finance, and Leadership
Review current safety policies, compliance processes, and audit history
Conduct field visits, ride-alongs, and warehouse walkthroughs
Identify immediate safety and compliance risks
Present an initial safety update at Field Service All Hands
The First 60 Days
Launch routine safety inspections and compliance spot checks
Implement consistent documentation and corrective action tracking
Review certified payroll and contractor compliance processes
Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions
Establish standardized contractor onboarding expectations
90 Days & Beyond
Assume full ownership of safety and labor compliance programs
Prepare organization for audits and external reviews
Deliver leadership report on safety trends, risks, and improvements
Develop roadmap for long-term program maturity and scalability
Salary & Equity
In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $70,000 and $100,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
Location
