Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Psychiatry (Behavioral Health Science) team in the role of Practice Operations Specialist. This position is hybrid role with an in-office requirement of 2-3 days a week located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Role Responsibilities
- Provides support in practice operations for the organization and reports to the Service Line Administrator.
- Will monitor budgets and practice targets, evaluate and implement policies and procedures, manage projects, and work with all levels of management and physicians to accomplish goals.
- Provides interim managerial support in the absence of a Practice Administrator and or Clinic Manager.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 1-2 years professional office experience (preferably healthcare related), and familiarity with health care organizations required. Masters of Health Administration or Masters of Business Administration may be accepted in lieu of experience.
Accounting, Business, Management, Science or Health Administration concentration preferred
