What we will ask you to do:

  • Act as the point of escalation for complex network issues
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced network incidents, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Recognize potential roadblocks and solution with the client and service team to remove them
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues involving network infrastructure, wireless solutions, firewalls, switching, and related services
  • Actively participate in disaster recovery and 911 situations relating to client networks
  • Provide the highest level of customer service, perception, and satisfaction
  • Work through a daily schedule in ConnectWise of ongoing ticket review
  • Work with the Service Team Leads to ensure client requests are prioritized appropriately
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Field Service Team Engineers on network solutions
  • Maintain proactive work each month to keep systems updated

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Networking or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of experience in a related role
  • 2 years of previous customer service experience
  • WLAN design experience
  • Minimum 1 year of Fortinet/Fortigate troubleshooting and/or implementation experience
  • Minimum 1 year of troubleshooting and/or implementation experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Minimum 1 year of Cisco Meraki experience

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Major industry certification (CCNP, CCIE, or comparable)
  • 3 years' experience with Cisco, Meraki, and/or Fortinet
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot a variety of network issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to provide high-level customer service
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2022/2019
  • VoIP experience
