Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech Apprentice I

Job Title/Rate: $24.52/hour
Proposed Work Schedule: hybrid schedule to cover both shifts, but the training will start on First shift 4am-2pm for a few months.

Daily Tasks:

• General Building Maintenance

• Replace light bulbs

• Repair washroom and plumbing fixtures

• Painting and plaster repairs

• Various housekeeping tasks

• Yard work and snow removal

• Responsible for assigned preventative maintenance tasks including work orders, completion, and record keeping

• LOTO “Authorized on ‘ALL’ machinery”

• Responsible for Parts inventory control and audits

Required Skills:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Exhibits Mechanical Aptitude

• Be proficient with hand and power tools

• Knowledge of carpentry and plumbing

• PIT certification: Must be able to safely operate forklift when moving machinery

• Have a current driver’s license

• Understand basic 110 and 220 volt electric circuitry

• Apprentice 1 Competency

• Cat 3 Certification

Physical Demands:

• Working Surface Height 40”

• Lifting up to 50 lbs

• Standing 8+ hours per day

• Inside conditions: extremes of heat (up to 100°F in summer), humidity, noise from production machinery (below 85 DSP)

• External conditions: working outside for long periods of time
