Digital Banking Solutions Technical Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled hands-on Digital Banking Solutions Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of our digital banking platform. They lead a cross-functional development team, providing technical leadership while remaining actively involved in coding, design, and problem-solving. As part of our digital banking transformation journey, the Lead works on mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability, security, and superior user experience for customers.

What You'll Do: 

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers (e.g., mobile, web, backend).
• Enforce coding standards, security practices, and architecture principles prescribed by Enterprise Architecture.
• Provide hands-on development support across key projects.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for digital banking applications.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to align solutions with banking compliance, security, and performance benchmarks.
• Design microservices and API-first solutions for high availability and extensibility.
• Lead the design and development of mobile (iOS/Android) and web-based banking platform.
• Effectively use CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and secure delivery of code to production.
• Oversee API strategy, including development, security (OAuth2, JWT), and governance.
• Manage integration with core banking systems and third-party fintech services.
• Guide the team in developing efficient database schemas, stored procedures, and optimization techniques.
• Lead performance tuning, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting for production systems.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Security, QA, and Infrastructure teams to deliver robust banking solutions.

 

What You'll Need: 

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• At least eight (8) years of experience in software development with at least two (2) years in a technical leadership role. Experience in banking, fintech, or financial services industry is desirable.
• Strong expertise in Mobile App Development and Web Development (e.g., .NET Core, C#, JavaScript frameworks).
• Advanced knowledge of API Management (e.g., REST, OAuth, API Gateway) and microservices architecture.
• Proficient in C#, .NET Framework/Core, T-SQL, and database optimization (Stored Procedures).
• Good understanding of Secure by Design principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and DevSecOps practices.
• Advanced skills in debugging, root cause analysis, and optimizing performance across distributed systems.
• Experience with OutSystems or similar low-code platforms is a plus.
