Associate Director, Demand Planning (P-3892)

The Associate Director, Demand Planning will lead the creation and communication of consensus demand process to the supply team. You will be the liaison with cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products. You will also be responsible for leading demand management process and the integration of the output from this process into the Sales and Operation Planning Process (S&OP) working closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance team.

What you will be doing:

• Generate forecasts on a cadence to support the S&OP process which includes sales, production and product management teams, aligning all stakeholders in a consensus forecast
• Key contributor to support the timely and successful delivery of products to our customer
• Leads The administration of the S&OP process to ensure deliverables of all key stakeholders
• Implement and maintain adequate demand sensing techniques & processes, including a baseline statistical forecast ensuring the timely adjustment to forecasts, based on latest business intelligence and demand trends
• Schedule and facilitate reviews with the planning and procurement teams to ensure proper alignment of customer needs and production plans
• Develop and maintain metrics to track business performance, such as forecast accuracy, forecast bias and collaborative customer engagements
• Active in the strategic planning process for key business units
• Work closely with supply chain and manufacturing team to manage exceptions and identify improvement to the process
• Interact and build relationships with all levels of personnel requiring good communication skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Education
  • Bachelor’s’ Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar discipline

• Experience
  • 10 years working in a demand planning or relatable work experience
  • Experience in analyzing data and making recommendations
  • Experience in collaborating within a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain procedures and demand planning techniques
  • Familiarity with an ERP system and forecasting tools
  • Proficiency with MS Office products with expertise in Excel
  • Able to work through influence across groups and business units
  • Exhibit a passion for process improvement
  • Confident and articulate to deal with internal and external customers

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• MBA degree
• Industrial experience in Life Sciences

Below is the base pay range for this full time position.  The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package.  This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.  Your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company’s total compensation package during the hiring process.

Pay Range$186,000—$228,000 USD
