POSITION: Senior Cloud Security Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 233 Spring Street, 6th Floor East, New York, NY l0013 [and various

Senior Cloud Security Engineer needed by Warby Parker in New York, NY [and various
unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to collaborate across
engineering teams to improve tools and strategies and promote security. Work with
engineering and product teams to develop secure products. Enhance cloud security to
ensure AWS infrastructure is protected. Work on log aggregation from cloud services.
Assess the risk of applications and architectures through threat modeling, build attack
trees, and communicate potential vulnerabilities relative to business impacts. Review and
fix AWS services for security issues. Monitor, detect, respond to, and investigate security
breaches. Develop, maintain, and report key cloud security metrics. Utilize tools
including AWS, AWS IAM, and VPCs. Create AWS networking best practices and
infrastructure security practices. Utilize Linux, Cloud, Bash, and Python. Work on
application security issues utilizing OWASP Top 10, SANS 24, CERT. Working on
Lambda functions to automate security tasks. Utilize SIEM tools such as Spunk and
Wazuh. Integrate threat intelligence data and IOC’s with SIEM tool for detection and
response. Automate the vulnerability management process using PIACT. Work on CI and
CD pipeline to detect access key secret. Perform static, dynamic, and software

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Cyber
Security, Computer Engineering, or Information Security and three (3) years of
experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation
utilizing tools including AWS, AWS IAM, and VPCs; creating AWS networking best
practices and infrastructure security practices; working on application security issues
utilizing OWASP Top 10, SANS 24, and CERT; utilizing Linux, Cloud, Bash, and
Python; working on Lambda functions to automate security tasks; utilizing SIEM tools
such as Spunk and Wazuh; integrating threat intelligence data and IOC’s with SIEM tool
for detection and response; automating the vulnerability management process using
PIACT; working on CI and CD pipeline to detect access key secret; and performing
static, dynamic, and software component analysis.

The salary range for this position is $145,600.08 - $150,000.00
