Job Position Title:                                               Cannula Shipping Clerk

Function:                                                               Operations

Location:                                                               Columbus West

Job Group/Grade:     JG2, 3rd Shift, 10pm - 6am, M - F

Position Summary:                                            

Responsible for completion of a wide variety of administrative tasks that support all the functional areas of the Cannula department.    Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.  Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.  Ability to read and write and converse in English.  Willing and able to uphold BD Values.

Duties/Responsibilities:     

• Weigh cartridges and waste on Weight Count and Pack and document

• Create C Batches and track weekly

• Create and print delivery notes

• Match POs with shipments for accuracy

• Maintain open delivery notes by customer

• Maintain ZULA

• Prepare shipments to both internal and external customers – assemble, fill and load boxes on pallets

• Prepare quarterly inventory utilizing correct storage locations

• Convert part numbers

• Create, Move, Merge, Manage LPs

• Investigate any concerns regarding inventory

• Work closely with planners and Shift Production Leader to meet shipment requirements while maintaining shipping spreadsheets

• Verify final audit report against batch numbers on shipments

• Work with Champion to maintain accurate cartridge counts and assure that master data is correct

• Maintain organized work space, clean environment, per procedures

• Assist with projects, EWOs, Validations and Engineering Studies

• ECC Access and error troubleshooting (untecoing orders, remove deletion flag, over deliveries, etc.)

• Participate and assist in implementation of Everest/Eagle projects

• Work with shipping department to get product out on time

• Serve as the MES Champion back up

• Work with the customer to clean up delivery notes

• Be part of the inventory team – lead inventory counts for your area

• Pc Weight tracking and Data entry to assist in control the MUV variances on small gauge

• Manage and order supplies for pack room and pack for shipment

• Perform minor repairs on Zebra printers and refills labels

• Serve as main contact for shipping area

• Other duties as required to support the needs of the business

Education:

• High School diploma/GED required

Experience:          

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

• Experience in SAP/MES systems preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Work effectively on own, or in a team atmosphere – Proficient

• SAP and MES experience for electronic transfer of product – Basic

• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel – Basic

• Ability to give and receive feedback – Basic

• Willingness and ability to train others - Proficient
