As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician at our North Haven facility, you will be an integral part of our operations team, ensuring that our advanced manufacturing equipment runs efficiently. Your expertise in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery will directly contribute to the production of life-saving devices. This role is perfect for a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making an impact.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment, including related machinery.
Ensure minimal downtime by swiftly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment histories.
Adhere to all safety regulations and quality standards, ensuring compliance with Medtronic’s policies and procedures.
Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
Will work in areas and on equipment including pressurized vessels/reactors, pumps, and extruders.
Will work in areas governed by Process Safety Management (PSM).
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires a high school diploma and minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have:
Electrician certifications, welding experience, or fabrication experience.
Experience in a PSM environment
