The Payroll Leader coaches and leads a payroll team that prioritizes customer experience, compliance, and growth. The leader ensures collaboration with support teams and other business units to provide an outstanding customer experience. This role is mindful of risk management and business issues ranging from the customer level to the broader Association level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Development/Profitability

• Manages and grows payroll revenue and profitability within FCE’s risk appetite.
• Develops marketing materials to promote the payroll service and inform customers about changing regulations.
• Delivers accurate, high quality payroll services to customers. 
• Promotes other FCE services to help our customers to be more successful.

 

Team Leadership

• Provides leadership, training and direction to payroll team.
• Works with peers and Human Resources to recruit and develop payroll teammates
• Works collaboratively with other leaders to promote consistency.
• Manages staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Sets a tone of a proactive and forward-thinking culture.
• Embraces change and promotes efficiency across the team.

 

Practice Management

• Manages the team’s productivity and realization to ensure efficient and profitable service delivery.
• Manages staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.

• Administers payroll services within ACA policies, procedures and guidance
• Ensures that payroll teammates complete required training each year

 

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Finance, Business or a related field
• Payroll processing and/or team leadership experience preferred
• Salary range: $75,000- $105,000 commensurate with experience
