The Vice President, Business Development & Investor Relations (VP, BD & IR) is responsible for developing and leading HeartFlow’s corporate collaborations on a global basis while developing and executing HeartFlow’s investor relations strategy to ensure effective communication with the investment community. This role will manage HeartFlow’s existing partner agreements as well as lead the development of agreements with new partners that will provide strategic value for the company. This person will be responsible for all aspects of these collaborations, including prioritization (in consultation with company leadership), strategic direction, key relationship management, geographic and technical expansion, and operational execution. The VP, BD & IR will be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. #LI-Remote; #LI-IB1
This position will be remote and require approximately 25% travel.
Job Responsibilities, Investor Relations:
Investor Communications
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
- Prepare and disseminate investor communications, including quarterly earnings releases, presentations, and other relevant materials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and facilitate meetings and presentations.
Financial Analysis
- Create financial models tailored to meet the expectations of the investment community, incorporating key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Analyze financial performance, industry trends, and competitive positioning to provide insights to senior management and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of financial guidance and forecasts for the investment community.
- Monitor and report on changes in the company's shareholder base.
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's performance and investor sentiment.
- Provide regular market intelligence updates to the executive leadership team
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with the executive team to ensure alignment on messaging and investor relations strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with sell-side analysts, institutional investors, and key financial media.
Compliance and Disclosure
- Ensure compliance with all SEC regulations and stock exchange rules related to investor relations.
- Oversee the timely and accurate filing of all required documents.
Job Responsibilities, Business Development:
- Manage all aspects of HeartFlow’s corporate collaboration programs
- Determine strategies and tactics to maximize the success of these programs for HeartFlow and strategic partners
- Develop and manage systems and processes to ensure that these relationships and associated programs function smoothly
- Coordinate with partner collaboration / alliance managers to assist in this effort
- Champion the collaborations to the HeartFlow organization
- Work closely with HeartFlow’s commercial, technical and clinical teams, serving as the expert on the collaborations and soliciting input to optimize partnerships
- Determine ways to expand the collaborations, through expanding geographies, or developing additional programs
- Work closely with Senior Management on the negotiation of further collaborations and the expansion of current collaborations
