Job Description:
The Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager is responsible for the ideation, creation, and development of social and influencer marketing content across all relevant social media platforms. In addition, this role provides creative support for daily production and long-range assignments, contributes to group projects, and frequently works independently on assignments.
This is a hands-on position requiring individuals who possess strong conceptualization skills grounded in data and analytics, experience with DTC brands and direct response marketing, the ability to offer unique creative solutions, change direction easily, push their creativity and software skills to higher levels, and exploit new technology. The best fit for this role is a candidate who never settles for "good enough" and reacts in real-time to make creative decisions and leverage how the world responds to our creativity to make it even better.
Responsibilities:
- Further developing and managing the brand’s social media identity, brand awareness, and online reputation on Wantable and Wantable’s 3 private brand labels.
- Develop data-led creative campaigns which are aligned to brand KPIs, and media objectives and are aligned to brand guidelines and across key strategic priorities.
- Managing a social media content calendar through deliberate planning, strategy, and goal setting.
- Creating written and visual content across several social media platforms.
- Social outreach to like-minded brands, influencers, content creators, and prospective partners.
- Collaborate with influencers, content creators, internal partners, and agencies as necessary to improve brand awareness.
- Identify opportunities to use whitelisted influencer content across other media channels such as paid social.
- Lead any influencer marketing or social media activations to drive business KPIs and brand awareness.
- Partner with customer service in building social engagement best practices and guidelines.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for the social and influencer program —like link clicks, likes, orders, Cost Per Order (CPO) and other metrics—of social media marketing campaigns.
- Monitoring and analyzing trends and competitor performance.
- Assist in the coordination of social forward content production shoots.
- Create and produce high-quality social media content to be used across paid and organic channels with the ability to tell continuous stories across newsfeeds, stories, Reels, TikTok, and Live placements.
- Understand and inform how to budget and forecast expected KPIs to inform the health of the influencer and social media marketing programs.
Expected Outcomes for this position:
- Build bi-weekly testing strategies with 1-2 testing variables/plan
- Concept and direct new or improved creative concepts
- Generate high social engagement (1.25% or higher)
- Increase organic social media channel following by 10% Quarter over Quarter in partnership with the Acquisition team
- Lead the program’s KPI performance insights
Requirements:
Deep Understanding and Hands on Experience with all social platforms.
- Experience consuming and publishing content across all paid digital advertising and/or social platforms, including experience working natively within social media platforms to create real-time content
- Constantly monitors social platforms and expand on knowledge of organic social best practices
Ability to create data-driven, on-trend/brand, engaging content..
- Ability to write concise, engaging content that adheres to brand guidelines for tone and voice, using best practices for each given channel
- Advanced knowledge using Canva, Adobe CS. (Video motion software such as Premier Pro, Motion, and/or After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro for bonus points), Grin, Google Analyics, Looker - Data Studio, Google Sheets.
- Displays keen attention to detail, spelling and grammar.
