About the role: 
Executive to provide a clear, single point of connection from Process Development to the Arden Hills Manufacturing Plant. The Process Development director role will be responsible for building, managing, and influencing relationships/strategies with key plant stakeholders in the Arden Hills Plant (engineering, production, finance, human resources, capital equipment, materials management, facilities, program management, etc.). In addition, this person will lead Technology Development and New Product Development efforts to ensure solid alignment and execution within the Process Development function and Arden Hills site.

This position is an on-site role based in Arden Hills, MN.

Your responsibilities include:

• Identifies and communicates the department's vision, new strategies, and projects aimed at enhancing key business metrics.

• Champions the sharing and leveraging of initiatives, processes, and accomplishments across the divisions/plants.
• Prepares for the launch of new products as they are handed over from R&D through to the successful launch into a production scale operation.
• Development and implementation of capable processes using Six-Sigma tools.
• Development of necessary manufacturing processes on-site to optimize layout and process flow.
• Development of processes which fully meet our Regulatory and Quality requirements working in close relationship with QA and Manufacturing/Business counterparts.
• Develops and implements necessary maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure process control.
• Oversees the specification and purchase of capital equipment ensuring balance between optimizing our technological capabilities and return on investment.
• Works closely with R&D to ensure that design for manufacturability is a key consideration in initial product design.
• Understands and complies with all the regulations governing the quality systems. 
• Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to patient safety and product quality. Ensures all direct reports are well-versed in their commitment to patient safety and product quality, up to date with their training requisites, and fully compliant with all pertinent regulations governing their functions.
• Develops and manages budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with corporate requirements.

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of proven leadership experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Process development or new product development experience 
• Proficient in financial management, with demonstrated experience in effectively managing budgets.

Preferred qualifications:

• Manufacturing experience
• Ability to expand influence within Boston Scientific – collaborate across sites, divisions, and with new acquisitions.
