Position Overview

The Office Associate, located at the Vienna Correctional Center, serves as clerical support for the institution’s Clinical Services Department. This position requires confidentiality, accuracy, and strict attention to detail. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, task oriented, and organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills. We are looking for a dedicated candidate that can be trusted to display professionalism, integrity, civility, transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in all actions. Essential Functions

• Maintains and keyboards records for individuals in custody that are scheduled to be paroled and/or discharged.
• Prepares and maintains weekly release and discharge lists.
• Records warrants issued and warrant withdrawals for parolees.
• Copies Masterfile materials and distributes as appropriate.
• Assists other Clinical Services staff in the performance of duties and serves as back up to other Office Associates.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and two (2) years of office experience.
• Requires ability to type accurately at 45 words per minute.
