About the role
Location: Dr. Ajay ChawlaPosition: Medical Assistant
We are a small, independently owned practice serving Shelby, Ohio for about 20 years. We are looking for a Medical Assistant who will be at the front end of patient care. The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with patient care, chart management, scheduling appointments, assisting with in office procedures, point of care testing, immunizations, referrals, prior authorizations and more. Front desk work includes checking in patients, scheduling, phone work, and taking messages for the physician and the nurse practitioners.
Training will start at the front desk and will transition to MA rotation between the front desk and patient care. Ideal candidate has to have experience working on electronic health records and strong communication skills
Hours: Full Time position
Typical start time 8.30am to 4.30pm; flexible to allow for a half day off during the week with full time hours. No weekends or holidays.
Salary: Based on experience, education, and work history
