The hourly pay range for this role is estimated to be $19-$25 per hour at the time of the posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, student classification/year of study, experience, knowledge, and skills

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

·         Conduct system level testing requires to validate our software solution

·         Troubleshoot system issues

·         Perform root cause analysis with the guidance of Senior Software Developers

·         Develop software solutions to address known or possible issues

·         Assist Software Engineers in operating the Grand Rapids facility focused on delivering material handling logistics

What We are Looking For:

·         Current enrollment in a program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other software related field.

·         Must be in good standing with their college or university.

·         Experience with scripting languages (python, BASH or equivalent) and OOL (Java or equivalent)

·         Ability to troubleshoot software issues.

·         Basic Understanding of:

o    Networking principles

o    Databases (SQL, Postgres, or NoSQL)

o    Version Control software (GIT)

o    API development

o    Agile Software development principle

·         Ability to work remotely and on-site. This is a hybrid position and time in our solution center will be required.

·         Capable of following directions and supporting Senior Engineers

Nice to have:

·         Experience with Cloud based deployments

·         Understanding distributed systems

·         Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container management systems.
