Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to oversee the development and maintenance of our Yggdrasil’s frameworks and tooling that supports game development process. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing the product backlog, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring that the product meets the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. The Technical Product Owner will also work closely with the development team, partnering with the Engineering manager, to ensure that the product is delivered on time and within budget.
Reporting directly to CTO, Technical Product Owner, will have a direct impact on the game development process, by providing scalable and maintainable solutions that support Yggdrasil strategy realization. This role also involves direct involvement in game servers’ SDLC and is on the edge of the Technology (CTO) department, providing backend function to the game Studio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize product features based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
- Define and manage the product roadmap, release plans, and sprint goals.
- Create and maintain a product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Ensure that the development team understands the product vision, goals, and requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and retrospectives to continuously improve the product and the development process.
- Maintain best practices, industry standards, and security requirements for the product.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the product status, roadmap, and upcoming releases.
- Oversee the utilization of produced solutions, gather feedback, and react to ever-changing demands.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Prior experience working in the gaming/ iGaming industry. Experience with Slot Games is a strong advantage.
- A strong technical background based on education or experience in software engineering – you need to understand the software building blocks. You need to be able to talk about different technical solutions at a high level with the development team.
- Demonstrated understanding of an iterative approach to software delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience in developing and maintaining in-house frameworks and tooling that supports game development process is a plus.
