As a Security Officer -Security Officer - Retail Site - Front Desk - Part Time in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will play a key role in welcoming guests, managing access control, and supporting a positive experience for all who enter the premises. Your presence at the front desk will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication skills and commitment to customer service will create a welcoming atmosphere. You will monitor visitor access, respond to inquiries, and assist with alarm panel operations as needed. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or tenants at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and managing access control to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, clients, and/or tenants, addressing questions and providing assistance as needed.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, remaining alert to any security-related concerns within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
