Aim of the Program

 

The aim of our programme is to develop capable students into impactful professionals that have sound commercial and business acumen, put quality relationships at the heart of their work whilst demonstrating Berry Global behaviours, values and the qualities of talented and credible leaders.  We achieve this through a program blending face to face and virtual workshops which equip graduates with a personal and professional development toolkit.  We will provide commercial awareness in order that graduates understand the business context, our processes and ultimately our customers.  The program creates and supports cross-divisional and cross-geographical networking amongst peers and our One Berry team.

What do you need?

 

Our Graduate Programme is searching for analytical, pro-active and creative people who will push us to innovate and stay true to our values of partnership, excellence, growth and safety.

 

Successful applicants will demonstrate the following qualities and skills:

 

• Must be fluent in both Italian and English
• Must have permanent right to work in the EU, a graduate VISA is not sufficient.
• Pro-activate, positive and self-motivated
• Self-confident with strong interpersonal skills
• Creative, open minded and curious
• Analytical/methodical approach to problem assessment and development of solutions.
• Good organisational, written and oral communication
• Agility - geographically mobile
• Team player and networker whilst the ability to work independently
• Ability to remain calm under pressure

Responsibilities

What does the program entail?

 

• A combination of face to face and virtual workshops alongside placements of up to six months at one of our many global sites, project work and general and specialist training.
• Different placements across functions such as Customer Care, Logistics and Operations and Sales, in order to equip you as a Sales professional in the packaging industry.
• A mentor will be assigned to you. This is someone outside of your team who will be able to support you in your personal and professional development.

Where will I be based?

 

You will be allocated at your host site in Voghera, Itlay. You will have the opportunity to visit other sites within our Berry Global network during the programme.  Flexibility will be required as placements may be in non-host countries.

 

What will I be involved in over the programme?

 

Over the duration of the programme, you will participate in workshops, lead projects as well as having day-to-day activities at the site at which you are b
