The Associate HCC receives structured coaching, mentorship, and field training to develop the skills necessary for future advancement into a Healthcare Care Consultant (HCC) role.</p> <h2>Essential Functions</h2> <p><strong>Relationship Development &amp; Sales Support</strong></p> <ul> <li>Learn and apply the organization's consultative selling process through field training, coaching, and guided customer interactions.</li> <li>Support the development and maintenance of professional relationships with physicians, discharge planners, social workers, senior living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and other healthcare referral partners.</li> <li>Accompany senior sales representatives on customer visits to learn effective account management and referral development techniques.</li> <li>Assist with identifying opportunities to strengthen referral relationships and increase community awareness.</li> <li>Participate in customer follow-up activities to ensure exceptional service and responsiveness.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Community Outreach &amp; Education</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support community education efforts by participating in presentations, health fairs, networking events, and educational programs.</li> <li>Help educate referral sources, patients, families, and community partners on hospice services and the organization's value proposition.</li> <li>Assist with planning and coordinating outreach activities designed to increase community awareness and engagement.</li> <li>Represent the organization professionally at community and business events.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Market Development &amp; Planning</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist in the execution of territory and account development plans under the guidance of sales leadership.</li> <li>Support efforts to achieve referral and admission growth objectives through daily activity and relationship-building initiatives.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and market intelligence within company systems.</li> <li>Participate in regular territory reviews and business planning discussions.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Collaboration &amp; Teamwork</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build strong working relationships with clinical, operational, and admissions teams to ensure a positive customer experience.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support patient access and referral coordination.</li> <li>Participate in team meetings, training programs, and ongoing professional development activities.</li> <li>Demonstrate a willingness to learn and actively seek coaching and feedback.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compliance &amp; Professional Standards</strong></p> <ul> <li>Adhere to all company policies, procedures, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Complete all required compliance and annual training programs.</li> <li>Consistently demonstrate the organization's mission, vision, and values in all interactions.</li> <li>Maintain professionalism, integrity, and accountability while representing the organization.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <p><strong>Education &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> </ul> <p>Ā </p> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous internship, customer service, healthcare, recruiting, hospitality, retail sales, or business development experience.</li> <li>Exposure to healthcare, senior care, hospice, home health, or related industries.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership experience through work, athletics, student organizations, or volunteer activities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.</li> <li>Ability to learn consultative sales techniques and apply coaching feedback.</li> <li>Self-motivated with a desire to build a career in healthcare sales and business development.</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and other business technology tools.</li> <li>Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within assigned territory.</li> </ul> <p>Compensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors, including but
