In 2021, Samsung announced a new facility in Taylor, Texas, where it plans to invest a minimum $17 billion in the build-out. The site spans 1,200+ acres and the first phase of development will have 4.7 million square feet of floor space consisting of a cluster of semiconductor manufacturing buildings such as a fab, office, parking garage, central utility building, and special utility supply facilities. The Taylor facility will boost the production of semiconductor solutions that will power next-generation technologies in areas like 5G, artificial intelligence (AI) and high performance computing.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary/Overview:
This Finance team is looking for a Korean-speaking financial analyst. This position requires a strong analytical background with the ability to analyze and consolidate financial results for reporting to high-level management. Should be a self-starter, able to demonstrate sound judgment and versatility in decision-making and problem solving.
Specific Job Duties:
- Perform financial forecasting, annual business plan and rolling plan, variance analysis of actual versus forecast and reconciliation of internal accounts to assess strategic decision alternatives
- Perform the monthly profit and loss closing process. Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare financial related analysis and research in area such as financial and cost saving performance measures
- Participate in annual budget process and cost saving activities in corporation with each unit part heads.
- Provide important business information and support ad-hoc reports as directed by management
- Support creation of materials for various management reviews and meetings
Shift: 1st M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills and Qualifications:
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- CPA preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:
- Bilingual Korean Required
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
