About the role

Full-time salary. Work overnight shifts Monday through Thursday. No weekends required.

The Hospice/Homecare Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) plays an important role in the agency supporting the after-hour needs of our Hospice and Homecare patients. Overnight shift consists of triaging patient calls escalated from on-call triage service, and making infrequent visits to patients in their homes. Highlights as the Hospice/Homecare Overnight Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Provide end of life support for patients and families
  • Ability to triage all agency patient related phone calls
  • Complete all patient communication related documentation utilizing patient EMR and team email communication methods
  • Practice nursing within the scope of license set by the NH Board of Nursing
  • Engage in respectful communication (both verbal and written) with team members, patients, family members, and the community
  • Adhere to agency wide policies
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need as the Hospice/Homecare Overnight Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Active NH RN license
  • Minimum 1 year direct care experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent telephone communication skills necessary
  • Telephone triage experience preferred
  • Proof of Flu vaccination
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Automobile insurance
  • Physical exam within the last year
  • Two-step TB test
