Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The housekeeper provides cleaning services to the entire facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Locker Rooms
- Clean the drinking fountains, lockers, sinks, toilets, mirrors, showers, sauna and counters. Vacuum/mop floors
- Replenish the toilet paper, paper towels, wipes and soap
- Unlock lockers for members
- Exercise Areas and Other Rooms
- Dust, wipe down and disinfect fitness equipment
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Clean mirrors
- Turn off lights in unoccupied rooms, lock doors and secure windows
- Laundry
- Collect dirty towels
- Lift laundry bags
- Sort laundry, push/pull laundry carts to and from the laundry room
- Transfer towels from washer to dryer
- Clean Lint Traps
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be able to read and follow instructions
- Must be familiar with the proper use of cleaning tools, supplies and saftey equipment
- Must be able to work both independently and as a team
- Must be well organized
- Must be able to lift and carry up to forty pounds
- Must be able to adjust due to interruptions and prioritize as need
- Must be able to remain on your feet the entirety of the shift
- Must be able to lift/carry at least 40 pounds
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a physically active position. The ability to stand, reach, bend, twist, lift, carry, dust, wipe, vacuum, mop and climb is required. The employee will be exposed to and use commercial cleaning products. Appropriate gloves and protective eyewear are provided when needed.
AVAILABLE WORKING HOURS
Evening hours on weekdays.
Morning, Day and Evening hours on weekends.
