Assistant Accountant

Description

JOB SUMMARY: 

 Responsible for Managing Accounts Receivable Dispute Software including day-to-day management of disputes, follow-up, escalation and aging. Daily/Monthly cash management and bank reconciliation, reconcile AR subledger to GL for month end and other general accounting functions as assigned.

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•      General Ledger Account Reconciliations
•       Cash Management / Bank Reconciliation
•       Maintain reporting related to dispute management software
•       Responsible for all chain account dispute management
•       Projects as assigned such as analyzing and reconciling web consumer aging activity.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of general accounting experience required.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Preferred experience with accounts receivable aging or managing deductions / chargebacks.
• Must be detail oriented, have strong working knowledge of Excel and be a team player.
• Deduction management software experience (High Radius) would be a plus
• Knowledge or experience in enterprise accounting systems preferred. Experience in Netsuite a plus.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
