Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer. In this role, you will will be paired with more experienced Cyber engineers in performing cyber security system lifecycle tasks including: developing and testing patches to mitigate vulnerabilities in Software and while collaborating with Cyber stakeholders to integrate and test cybersecurity solutions on the C2BMC system. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of managing vulnerabilities through analysis and remediation of IAVMs, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), CVEs, Vendor Patches, and STIG configurations.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Operations, Cybersecurity Engineering
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Experience and knowledge of basic software practices such as scripting and configuration management.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+ or others)
• Administrative experience with Window and/or Linux systems
• Experience and knowledge of Patch Management systems.
• Experience and knowledge of Agile Methodologies

Desired skills

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Active DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+ or others)
• Understanding of DoD best practices for confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of systems is highly desirable
• Familiarity with STIGs, NIST standards, and security controls
• Understanding of software development life cycles and testing processes
