About the role
Details: This position is full-time, day shift. Team member will work 5:00am until 1:30pm. Team member will be required to work rotating weekends and holidays. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on their feet, meeting new people, and representing IU Health in a positive and professional manner.

Role Overview:
Sets the tone for an exceptional experience by welcoming all guests to our organization in a friendly, helpful manner. Serves as an information resource by answering questions, providing accurate up-to-date information and giving directions to areas within the hospital and any adjoining medical facilities. Responsible for being a culture champion by embracing and demonstrating the mission and vision of the organization. Requires a concierge level customer service attitude.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing role that serves as one of the first points of contact for patients, visitors, and guests entering IU Health. The ideal candidate is energetic, engaging, and enjoys interacting with people throughout the day.
Key Qualifications:
- Friendly, welcoming personality with strong customer service skills.
- Comfortable with constant face-to-face interaction in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to provide information about the facility, services, and local area.
- Helpful, professional, and committed to creating a positive experience for guests.
- Computer savvy and able to navigate multiple systems efficiently.
- Comfortable assisting a high volume of visitors, with more than 2,000 people entering the facility daily.
- Thrives in an active role that is not desk-based.
Position Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous concierge level customer service experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience involving patient/public contact preferred.
