The Team:

• The newly commissioned Operating Theatre complex consists of two Endoscopy, two General Theatres, Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and a Day Surgery Unit (DSU).
• Currently functioning in two theatres each day, with an uplift to increase to three theatres in the coming months.
• The regional theatres for the Northwest, providing surgical services for minor general, gynaecology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, urology and dental procedures for the North and Northwest.

 The Role:

This will ensure that every patient journey reflects safety, respect and professionalism.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 9 June 2025.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Classification: 

Salary $78,179 - $105,995 per annum (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

• Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

1. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
