Job Description Summary:

This position is going to be located in our northern region of Ohio supporting Mansfield, Marion, Shelby, Hardin, Dublin and Grady care sites.
This position has overall responsibility for day-to-day department operations including line officers, Manager and Supervisors for Protective Services teams at multiple care sites. He/She is accountable for developing and implementing operational strategies, associate developments, policies, and procedures and coordinating activities between shifts and campuses. 

Responsibilities include:

Overseeing line-staff personnel functions, patrol operations, and providing liaison with outside law enforcement, compliance, and fire agencies. This position has a key leadership role in the Hospital's crisis management program. The Director is authorized by the President and Chief Medical Officer to take immediate action to resolve or abate significant safety and security issues.  The Director is expected to collaborate with other leaders, both within and outside of Protective Services, to develop programs, strategies and partnerships with further the mission and values of OhioHealth and Protective Services.
