Wachter is currently seeking an experienced Operations Support Specialist in our Lenexa, KS office. This Operations Support Specialist role requires 1-2 years of experience researching, preparing, and submitting permit applications, specifically acting as a liaison with municipal and government agencies to secure regulatory approvals. The position demands close attention to detail for tracking permit statuses, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance. This position is in the office Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree; relative work experience preferred.
- Construction industry experience is preferred.
- Excellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of company and individual licensing nationwide.
- Research and apply for electrical permits.
- Manage electrical permits through internal systems.
- Monitor jurisdiction-specific code and regulatory changes to ensure the company is in compliance.
- Coordinate internally to ENSURE licensing requirements are being met by the scope of work.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and local, regional, and state governmental agencies.
- Manage continuing education requirements.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews as needed.
