Dental Assistant Opportunity Treating Veterans

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to work with a dentist to conduct exams for Veterans in portable clinics in various locations. Responsibilities:

• Work in portable dental clinic for Veterans in various locations throughout Illinois.
• Prepare patients for dental exam.
• Dental x-rays.
• Work with adults of various ages.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in the Dental Field
• Active Dental Assistant Certification
• Radiology Certification, State or DANB
• Able to pack up, load, set up, and haul dental equipment
• Valid driver’s license, reliable/own transportation, and willingness to travel to assigned clinic locations as needed
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Great interpersonal, patient care, and relationship building skills
• Professional verbal & communication skills
