As a Security Professional - Government Unarmed Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .
As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment within a government location. In this unarmed patrol position, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols throughout assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This role may involve patrolling on foot and/or by bicycle, offering a dynamic and engaging workday. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, responding to inquiries and assisting visitors as needed. - Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
- Support emergency response efforts as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other procedures as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
- Able to ride a bike for long periods of time is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
