Physician- PT or FT Associate Physician

 Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest physician-owned radiology practices in the country. Our growing practice includes 180 radiologists, 40 advanced practice providers, and more than 200 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. What we do: ARS provides services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan.  Our clients include West Michigan’s largest Level I trauma center and research hospital, Corewell Health as well as Bronson Healthcare, Holland Hospital, McLaren Greater Lansing, Ascension Macomb Oakland and many others.  

What we are looking for: We are seeking a PT or FT Associate Physician to help with our volume.  This position can be done from anywhere in the country or as a hybrid with some on site shifts in Grand Rapids.  It is ideal for someone who is looking for flexibility in their schedule or would like an additional source of income from other employment.

Responsibilities:

· Interpret US, PET and plain films utilizing our distributed radiology system (Intelerad PACS, PowerScribe 360)

· 24/7 clinical IT support

· Shifts can be worked in increments

· Minimum shifts per month would be 2 or 16 hours

We are affiliated with Michigan State University College of Medicine, and Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine. Due to the size and breadth of the healthcare systems we support, diagnostic volume and variety of clinical exposure is unrivaled.  

Compensation/Benefits: Our Associate Physicians earn $1600 per shift but also have a comprehensive benefit plan. This includes single or family medical/dental/vision with some premium contribution and a $9000 medical reimbursement account if you work an average of 2 shifts per week. We also contribute half the IRS maximum 401K contribution ($30,500 in 2022) after one year of employment if you work 256 hours (thirty two (32) 8 hour shifts) per quarter. We provide claims or occurrence based malpractice insurance through Curi, and reimbursement for your state medical license, $750 per year toward professional association dues as well as your ACR and MSMS payments.
