About the role

The Claims team has an opportunity for an Administrative Support Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the department by ensuring quality work through extreme attention to detail, timely processing of requests & documents, compliance to state regulations, and excellent customer service. The ability to work independently within a team in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service internally & externally.
  • Showcase quality listening to understand & address each request.
  • Demonstrate solid time management skills.
  • Produce results by executing tasks and staying action oriented.
  • Maintain compliance through timely processing.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Monitor the phone queue for call volume and remains available for all calls throughout their shift.
  • Understand how to setup new losses and what services we offer.
  • Maintain accuracy in documentation, executing tasks, and communicating with the team.
  • Monitor various work queues as outlined by management.
  • Multitask through multiple systems.
  • Listen to understand & identify needs of the department.
  • Showcase excellent time management.
  • Assist the department with various initiatives.
  • Assist with bulk payment vendors and with any questions or processes.
  • Lead team huddles.
  • Assist with gathering information for certified policies, EUOs, Coverage Reviews and SIU files.
  • Assist with gathering items for DOI complaints and Regulatory State Audits.
  • Assist with maintaining CAT coding in Diamond loader and update department staff.
  • Assist in updating processes.
  • Lend support in processing items for the ERN.

Requirements:

  • Must be customer focused, detail and action oriented
  • Can work independently or within a group
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Demonstrate proficiencies with computer software
  • Must exhibit core values
  • Must maintain impeccable attendance
  • Must be licensed and bondable
  • Familiarity of public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable
