The opportunity

As the Senior Manager Production in our Operations Department, you'll lead a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in achieving the long-term objectives and annual plans of the unit. You'll be accountable for the parenteral production facility, including bulk manufacturing and packaging. You're the conductor of our production symphony, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. From creating top-quality products to motivating your team and maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards, your role is the backbone of our success.

How you’ll spend your day

Making Production and Packaging Shine

• You manage/lead the daily shifts, overseeing all production activities.
• You take full ownership of meeting our site's targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• You lead/support optimization projects and introduce new production lines and processes.
• Operations are your canvas and you continuously fine-tune the production pocesses for peak performance.
• Your are familiar with OPEX principles, and you use them to boost productivity.
• Your resource management skills are top-notch, and you're the bridge to other departments.
   

Nurturing Talent

• You're the mentor and guide for our Production Supervisor Team.
• Identifying skill gaps is your power and you provide on-the-job coaching/training and support to close them.
• Spotting and grooming talent in your team is your passion for their growth.
   

Safety and Quality Compliance

• Data integrity in production? That's on you.
• In case of a crisis, acts as an emergency manager until the arrival of an SLT-member.
   

Your experience and qualifications

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or extensive working experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing a production department or proven qualifications to lead one.
• You have preferably experience with pharmaceutical production.
• If you have experience with operational excellence (OPEX) and hold a Belt certification, that's a bonus.
• You're well-versed in production processes and quality standards.
• Communication and leadership skills? You’ve got them! 
• You are a pro in English and Dutch is nice to have. 
   

Representing the Site:

• Regulatory inspections and global audits? You tackle them with a productive and proactive attitude.
• You're the face of production to internal and external customers.
