What to do in a project? What challenges will you meet?

  • Testing Across Multiple Platforms: Adapt testing methodologies to cover a diverse range of products and features, including desktop applications, web applications, and mobile apps, while addressing backend, frontend, and end-to-end testing requirements.

  • Cross-System Integration Testing: Participate in cross-system integration testing efforts to ensure seamless interoperability between different components and systems, identifying and resolving potential issues that may arise during the integration process.

  • White Box Testing Expertise: Demonstrate strong proficiency in white box testing techniques, leveraging an in-depth understanding of the product architecture to design comprehensive test scenarios that uncover potential vulnerabilities and ensure robustness.

  • Transitioning QA Automation: Play a pivotal role in transitioning the QA automation team from a regression-focused approach to becoming an integral part of the feature development process.

  • Strategic Thinking for Quality Assurance: Develop a holistic testing strategy that takes into account the broader context of the product roadmap, business objectives, and technological landscape, while also providing guidance and consultation to business analysts and developers on expected quality standards and testing activities.

  • Effective Incident Management: Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the development process, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and maintaining high levels of product reliability and customer satisfaction.

  • Communication and Leadership: Effectively communicate testing strategies, findings, and recommendations to cross-functional teams, while also demonstrating leadership in driving quality-centric initiatives forward.

  • Active Participation in Product Development Lifecycle: Actively engage in requirement verification, technical grooming, and test planning throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with quality objectives and overall project goals.

  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with developers to understand technical requirements, contribute to discussions on architecture, and provide valuable insights into testing strategies that encompass the full scope of product quality.


What professional skills are important to us?

  • Proven experience (4+ years) as a QA engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on quality assurance of complex software products.

  • 1+ years of test automation experience.

  • Proven ability to communicate with Product Owners and Development Leads to formulate testing strategies and plans, and propagate shift-left approach and shared product quality responsibility.

  • Experience in Windows desktop application testing.

  • Experience in REST API, WEB UI and E2E test automation.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Python.


Team size and structure?

We have structured our team around particular products. Typically, each team consists of 10-12 people, including front-end and back-end engineers, QA specialists, and analysts. A separate product owner is responsible for each team. Currently, we have a team of around 150 people.

Is there a probation period, and how long does it last? - Probation period lasts 3 months.

What is the work schedule? - Flexible working hours. Our working time zone is 08.00-14.00 (GMT), but it depends on the team, and can be flexible.
