POSITION OVERVIEW
NBME is seeking a Senior Program Administrator for the DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and Philanthropy units. This position reports directly to the Philanthropy Director, with a dotted line to the DEI Director. The Senior Program Administrator will oversee and execute some of the day-to-day activities of the units, as well as provide administrative support. This position supports initiatives that require collaboration across various units and organizations and assists with program strategic initiatives and priorities, provides agenda materials for committee meetings, responds to emails from internal/external stakeholders and customers within a reasonable timeframe, and executes other tasks as assigned. The candidate will play an integral role in ensuring DEI and Philanthropy initiatives are supported in the development, implementation, and communication stages in partnership with the Directors. You are a strong candidate for the Senior Program Administrator position if you are both collaborative and team-oriented and task and results driven; you have excellent project management, interpersonal, and communication skills; and have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, time-sensitive tasks.
This role has been designated as primarily remote which means it generally does not require onsite work more than an average of 4-5 times per month and may require additional prescheduled onsite work. We're open to considering candidates in the following states: PA, NJ, DE and MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead for a range of administrative and programmatic facilitation responsibilities.
- Provide research and data gathering and serve as a secondary resource on issues related to DEI and philanthropy.
- Serve as an administrative contact for the unit/program(s) for routine internal and external communications. Respond to routine inquiries and maintain correspondence records; collect and distribute materials; review, investigate, and respond to e-mails or phone requests.
- Assist with budget development for Philanthropy and DEI units.
- Organize, conduct, and record meetings; develop meeting agendas, organize pre-meeting materials, and create meeting minutes.
- Work cross functionally with Human Resources, Communications, IT, and other units when needed.
- Track key DEI metrics to measure outcomes, deliver accountability and ensure transparency.
- Collaborate with each Director on strategic initiatives that drive staff satisfaction and volunteer retention; participate in development of solutions to customer experience problems and implementation of solutions to improve customer and volunteer engagement.
- Lead or support initiatives related to the administrative and operational components of DEI and philanthropy.
- Work closely with Directors and partner organizations to develop program strategies and achieve operational objectives.
- Maintain unit/program(s) related data and reports. Maintain systems/portals where metrics are published and tracked to ensure clear and consistent reporting on impact and outcomes. Enter, organize, compile, and analyze routine data and information for reports or presentations that may require the ability to integrate several data sources, technologies, and software applications.

- Provide a high level of accessibility to internal team members and customers. Resolve routine and non-routine problems and issues or effectively triage them to other units or organizations as appropriate.
