Regional Planning and Analytics Manager, Americas 

 

The Regional Planning and Analytics Manager plays a pivotal role in driving demand planning accuracy, commercial insights, operational efficiency and profitability within the region.  Acting as the right-hand support to the VP Americas, this individual will lead demand forecasting and the SIOP process, conduct commercial and financial analytics, and oversee regional projects to enhance revenue growth, cost avoidance, margin optimization and supply chain efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

Demand Planning and Inventory Management

  • Develop and execute accurate demand forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet market demand
  • Lead the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process, participating in monthly consensus meetings with sales, finance and supply chain teams
  • Analyze inventory trends and implement strategies to reduce excess stock, improve turnover rates, and mitigate supply constraints
  • Act as a liaison between sales, operations and commercial customer service to address demand-supply imbalances, optimizing availability and revenue generation
  • Support the launch excellence process, ensuring smooth inventory planning and monthly phasing, customer pipeline and ramp-up, and sku lifecycle EOL management

 

Financial and Commercial Analytics

  • Analyze pricing elasticity and competitive trends to inform strategic pricing decisions
  • Conduct profitability and margin analysis to identify portfolio enhancements and revenue optimization opportunities
  • Assess the effectiveness of promotions and bundling strategies, providing data-driven recommendations to maximize revenue and minimize margin dilution
  • Evaluate new sales opportunities through detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis

 

Operational Projects and Process Improvement

  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives to improve regional contribution to global business financials 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (customer service, technical service, marketing, finance) to improve financial performance and regional contribution
