You will be the Manufacturing Engineer (Missile Assembly) - Entry Level for the Pike County Operations (PCO) team. Our team is responsible for creating high‑tech solutions in advanced missile manufacturing to meet the next‑generation warfighter needs.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for solving technical issues on the production shop floor, improving manufacturing processes, and integrating innovative technologies.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Provide hands‑on shop‑floor support to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.

  • Analyze engineering data to develop new manufacturing processes and detailed work instructions.

  • Integrate new assets and emerging technologies into the factory.

  • Support area‑wide continuous‑improvement initiatives that drive quality and cost enhancements.

  • Investigate root causes of quality defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters Degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical and electrical equipment and products.
• Must be able to work all schedules / shifts (first shift, night shift, and weekend schedule).
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment

Desired skills

• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering specifications, schematics and 2D drawings with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) references.
• Ability to create and maintain Computer Aided Design (CAD) models and drawings.
• Basic Knowledge of manufacturing factory operations such as: assembly processes, electronic testing methods, factory automation & equipment, and industrial safety procedures.
