Job Description

As a Senior Program Manager for Telecommunications at Blend, you will be instrumental in leading and directing high-profile, enterprise-level telecommunication projects. Your role will be crucial in overseeing the development and implementation of advanced texting protocols, ensuring compliance with CTIA regulations, and managing a broad spectrum of messaging technologies in our dynamic telecommunications environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading and managing large-scale telecommunication projects aligned with Blend’s strategic objectives.
• Developing and executing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, for seamless project execution.
• Ensuring strict adherence to text messaging regulations, with a focus on data privacy and security.
• Providing strategic guidance and insights to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Deep knowledge in advanced texting protocols (SMS, RCS, MMS, TCP/IP) and their applications.
• Expertise in CTIA regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
• Proven leadership in managing complex technical projects within the telecommunications sector.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience in leveraging texting technologies for marketing and operations.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

• This full-time, consultant role is based 100% onsite in Chicago, IL. The project duration is 6-12 months, with a competitive salary range of $95 - $150 per hour, DOE.
