Department Title: Undergrad Intern – Business Data Solutions
Position Summary: Software and Cloud Systems Engineer
Fund Accounting system support and Mutual Fund Performance
Development and design of new AWS workflows
Enhancing existing legacy applications/processes to use modern standards
Participating in team planning/design meetings
Real world hands-on development experience

All-hands on deck team environment in which everyone participates and contributes to the success of initiatives
An intern in this department can expect to learn:
The full software development lifecycle, from business requirement definition to production implementation and deployment.
A focus on software development best practices, cloud engineering, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities Can Include:

Developing or enhancing batch workflows
Frontend Development: Design and build responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create intuitive user experiences
Cloud Deployment: Learn modern DevOps practices by packaging applications in Docker containers and deploying them to AWS cloud infrastructure
Ideal Qualifications:
Eagerness to learn is key. A basic software development or systems background will be needed.
Python is one of our key tools for both software development and cloud systems deployment. Familiarity with Python will be useful for nearly any work performed.
A basic understanding of AWS Cloud services like EC2, S3, and cloud networking will be useful.
