Transportation Services Associate (Temp) - Nassau County-FlexStaff

Position responsibilities: Transport specimens and supplies to and from multiple hospitals and outreach clients.

Assists in picking-up and delivering equipment, supplies, medications, specimens to various internal and external hospital locations.

Responsibilities: 

• Assists in picking-up and delivering equipment, supplies, medications, specimens to various internal and external hospital locations
• Helps in escorting or transporting patients within facility
• Handles items in accordance with operating procedures
• Ensures timely delivery of items to appropriate locations; communicates delays in delivery / pickup time, as required
• Operates transport vehicles both on and off property
• Performs pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle
• Maintains vehicle mileage records
• Operates all vehicles in accordance with applicable laws; fuels vehicles as necessary
• Informs management of all vehicle activities and issues
