<h2>Job Description</h2><p></p><p>TechStyleOS is currently looking for a Senior Designer – New Initiative.</p><p><br/>How do you fit in?</p><p></p><p>As the Senior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in curating and refining the aesthetic and product line of our new active and athleisure brand launch. You'll be responsible for the entire product life cycle, from drawing inspiration and developing styles, fit, color &amp; trims to final execution. We're looking for a creative mind who can bring a unique perspective to the design process. Drawing inspiration from leading brands, ensuring our products align with current market trends will be what you’ll focus on, this nuanced balance requires someone who excels in interpreting and adapting styles rather than starting from scratch.</p><p></p><p>You will collaborate closely with product development and factory partners, contributing your expertise to create a cost-engineered, high-value product line for both women’s and men’s active and athleisure. The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver, adept at collaborating and building processes as we scale the business. We seek a highly energetic, collaborative, efficient, self-starter, and team player with an entrepreneurial mind and strategic vision, hungry for growth.</p><p></p><p>This position reports to the General Manager, Europe.</p><p></p><p>What You Will Do:</p><ul><li><p>Develop designs for specified categories, ensuring alignment with price targets and assortment strategies.</p></li><li><p>Cost engineer garments to achieve target IMUs.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with factories on fabrics, patterns, and development to achieve the desired price and aesthetic.</p></li><li><p>Stay abreast of emerging fashion trends and translate this knowledge into multi-category products.</p></li><li><p>Conduct research and development for product enhancement.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Product Developers and Vendors on raw material &amp; trim sourcing throughout the design and development process.</p></li><li><p>Create design flats, tech packs, and BOMs for overseas manufacturers, interpreting sketches into prototypes.</p></li><li><p>Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in designs, maintaining quality and consistency in fit, fabric, and finish.</p></li><li><p>Conduct fit sessions, providing fit intent with brand standards in mind, for both Regular and Plus sizes.</p></li><li><p>Build strong cross-functional relationships with Production, R&amp;D teams, &amp; factory teams, fostering flexibility and teamwork.</p></li><li><p>Adhere to Global Calendar deadlines through each milestone point.</p></li><li><p>Present designs and development to leadership regularly for final sign-off.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>What You Can Bring:</p><ul><li><p>6+ years of previous experience designing active or athleisure.</p></li><li><p>Proven track record of identifying trends and delivering results.</p></li><li><p>Expert understanding of the marketplace and competitive set.</p></li><li><p>Extensive knowledge of garment construction, including pattern making, sewing, and strong attention to detail and materials.</p></li><li><p>Ability to build a team as the business scales.</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse group at all levels.</p></li><li><p>Ability to be creative while working with a constant sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>Entrepreneurial go-getter, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot and be resourceful to solve problems.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop: create design flats, tech packs, line sheets, &amp; BOMs.</p></li><li><p>Fluent in English (minimum C1), Spanish a plus</p></li></ul><p></p><p>What’s in it for you? </p><p></p><p>Compensation: We offer a competitive salary, discretionary annual bonus scheme, and company equity program.</p><p></p><p>Holidays: Relaxation is important!
