Odyssey is building the Pixar of AI. The most valuable stories in the world—movies, TV shows, and video games—are told with beautiful 3D CGI, and Odyssey is developing AI capable of generating it.Odyssey is founded by Oliver Cameron (Co-Founder & CEO of self-driving car startup Voyage, which was acquired by Cruise) and Jeff Hawke (Founding Engineer and VP at Wayve and Oxford University PhD in AI), two veterans of self-driving cars and AI. With a team of researchers and engineers recruited from leading AI startups and labs, Odyssey intends to become Hollywood’s AI team.

Who You Are
You have a passion for photography for artificial intelligence.
You can deal with a prototype device, and handle it with care.
You can debug basic technical issues with the device.
You have intuition on photography concepts, such as lighting, exposure, aperture, and framing.
You are interested in computer vision technologies.
You can wear a 25lb backpack device and walk multiple miles per day.
You have access to a car to transport the device safely to a capture spot.
What You Will Do
You will collect data by wearing a data capturing backpack, walking in different locations for 5-6 hours per day.
You can operate the data collection rig, managing starting, saving and uploading recordings.
You can problem solve issues and debug issues with the device on-the-fly.
You can drive to a different location to walk each day.
Instructions and onsite training will be provided.
