Responsibilities: - Responsible for research and analysis of various federal income tax issues, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, timing issues and accounting methods, digital assets, and other matters - Assist with federal tax controversy matters - Draft emails and memorandums - Draft Firm-wide alerts on current developments in federal income taxKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic Qualifications: - 10 + years of progressive federal income tax consulting experience (large law firm, large accounting firm, industry experience or IRS preferred) - CPA or J.D. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with partnerships, S corporations, and/or C corporations - Strong analytical and writing skills - Strong proficiency with tax research databases (such as Bloomberg BNA and RIA Checkpoint) - Strong proficiency with federal tax controversy matters - LL.M. in Taxation Amanda Feltner, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
